The councillors of the fifth term of Th. Hirilandhoo Council were sworn in and the outgoing council handed over its responsibilities.
The councillors of the fifth term of Th. Hirilandhoo Council took the oath of office and the new term began. The ceremony was held in the council meeting room in the presence of island elders and youth representatives.
The outgoing council formally handed over its records, projects and financial accounts to the new council. The new council pledged to work for the development of the island and to raise the standard of council services.
